News: First Preston HT’s community outreach encompasses South Dallas where we have sponsored the mission of Cornerstone Baptist Development Corporation in many different facets over the years. Our support has helped revitalize and bring about community development in this area.
The Cornerstone Kitchen feeds hundreds of homeless people multiple times a week while also providing them with showers and clothing but is limited by its current space constraints. In an effort to expand the reach of this mission, First Preston HT has committed $100,000 towards the building of a new kitchen that will be able to reach hundreds more in need.
Our Company has donated over $10,000 to the Free Life Clinic which provides free medical care, drug prescriptions, and vision and dental care to the homeless. The Church’s mission to revitalize the neighborhood and provide housing has also been supported financially by First Preston HT. Funds were donated to help renovate city apartments, build new homes and provide further education for the children through Cornerstone Academy.

News: Over the past 13 years, First Preston HT has partnered with Habitat for Humanity (HFH) to help build homes for families in need. Our Company’s long-standing support of this great organization has stretched to 11 different States, including New York, Colorado, Arkansas and New Mexico, and has lead to 43 newly constructed homes in total.
Most recently, First Preston HT helped complete a project in South Collin County comprising of 10 neighboring homes. This brought our total to 19 homes built in conjunction with HFH’s South Collin County Chapter located in Plano, TX. Several of these homes were part of HFH’s Women Build Program which brings together women from all walks of life and encourages and teaches construction skills through the building process. We have had dozens of employees volunteer their time to help build these homes for these deserving individuals.
Supporting our local chapter has allowed us to be more hands-on with HFH and at the same time has also been very rewarding to see part of our community rebuilt. This has granted us an avenue to be involved locally while also making an impact for the organization nationally. We look forward to growing this number as we continue to make a positive impact in communities near and far.
